Who we are

Herrick Automations LLC builds websites and communication systems for small businesses. We are based in Virginia. You can reach us any time at sam@herrickautomations.com or (540) 888-8978.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly: your name, phone number, email, and business details when you fill out a form, call, text, or email us. If you become a client, we also keep the working records of your project (briefs, feedback, invoices).

Some of the systems we build for clients answer and place phone calls and text messages on their behalf. When you interact with one of those systems, the call or message may be recorded and logged so the business can verify the work was handled correctly. Those records belong to the business you contacted.

This website does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, your project, or a service you use (for example, a missed-call follow-up or an appointment reminder). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How we use your information

To respond to you, to do the work you hired us for, to send the messages described above, and to keep honest records of the services we operate. That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, ever.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to operate: hosting, email, telephone and messaging carriers, and payment processing. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We never share or sell your information for anyone else's marketing.

Retention and your choices

We keep records as long as we need them to serve you and meet our legal obligations, then delete them. You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email sam@herrickautomations.com and we will handle it within 30 days.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about any of it: sam@herrickautomations.com.
